What is fat cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a simple procedure that uses low-frequency sound waves to burst fat cells. 

During the treatment, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area. A hand-piece is then used to target specific body areas with low-frequency sound waves. The ultrasound wave vibrations produce a series of microscopic implosions within the fat cells, disturbing the outer membrane, this causes tiny collections of fat to be processed through liquifying the fat and then eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system. 

Fat cavitation devices for fat reduction are used to reduce localised fat deposits that have proven resistant to diet and exercise. 
Clients see immediate results and will continue to see results up to a week after the first treatment, with optimal results around 6-12 sessions. ​

What is radio frequency skin tightening?

Radio frequency skin tightening uses radio frequency energy to heat tissue and stimulate sub-dermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin.

Clients will see visible improvements as each week progresses with optimal results up to 12 weeks following the treatment.

Radio frequency induces tissue re-modelling and the production of new collagen and elastin by targeting the underlying structure of the skin with radio frequency energy. The local heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres and at the same time increases the metabolism of the fibroblasts, thereby accelerating the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.

The concentration of collagen fibres and the regeneration of the collagen and elastin deposits tighten the skin layers, creating smoother, healthier and younger looking skin.

Client before & aftercare

• Drink at least 1-2 litres of water the day before and of your treatment, and in the first few days after your treatment (soft drink, soda, juice or tea is not water). Try to make this a healthy habit everyday. This helps flush your lymphatic system and will assist results immensely!

• Do not drink ANY alcohol on the day of the treatment and within the first 48 hours after.

• Do not have a HOT shower, spa or sauna within 24 hours after treatment.

• Do some light exercise such as a brisk walk for at least 20 minutes after your treatment to stimulate lymph movement.

• The client can return to work or normal activities immediately after the treatment.​

• Visceral fat is two times more responsive to diet & exercise than subcutaneous fat. As fat cavitation only targets subcutaneous fat we recommend a balanced diet & exercise to improve and prolong your results after your treatment. Be conscious of your food and choose healthier options.​
